Today I am thankful for brakes. What? brakes? yes...the brakes you have on your car! Today 3 different times I was almost hit by other drivers. Crazy! The worst one by far however was the 2nd in coming home on US-131. I see only red brake lights in front of me, I ease on the brakes myself and all of a sudden I hear this screeching squeeling noise coming from behind me and a car driving up alongside me on the shoulder of the highway. It was enough to make my heart jump into my throat! but praise the LORD, I must have had some higher being around my car because not a scratch was made and I am safe!
