YUCK!

So...last night we started getting Kyler ready for bed early because he hadn't slept very well this weekend...Nathan put him in the tub like always and I went to get my pjs on. While I was getting changed, Nathan called me into the bathroom. I said just a sec, but he said, no you need to come NOW! I was like, hmm what's going on...so I went. Wouldn't you know it, Kyler POOPED in the tub! YUCK! Thank goodness it was a solid turd instead of something like diarhea...but still...that is the grossest thing I can think of! So, what do you do if your son or daughter decides to poop in the tub? Do you scold them? or do you just get the poop out and not worry about it? Do you have to disinfect the tub afterwards? Guess I should look into this huh?

well, just a quick post to say whew! we made it...Kyler had his 1st birthday today and we celebrated with family and a couple close friends...I made the cake which I was determined to make from the beginning...I started searching in early Dec. for something and finally at Christmas decided I was going to make Horton the Elephant and that would be our theme along with green and blue since there wasn't much Horton stuff out there...since NO bakery I know would make anything Horton, I decided I was going to do it myself. I am here to say I DID IT!!! and it turned out so darn cute...here's the final product below! Enjoy!!! but don't think I'm a baker or try to get me to make your next child's birthday cake cause I spent ALL day making the cakes then carving them and then around 2 hours at night frosting and putting finishing touches on Horton before today's party...all in all I think Horton turned out pretty darn good, but now my back hurts and I think I need a massage...so no calls about making any cakes please!

Well, if you are reading this, then you know that baby Studer #2 will not be appearing in July...I miscarried last night around 1:20. I am ok and the baby is now in a better place. Though I feel pain, I know my baby is in its eternal father's arms and we will see him or her again someday. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to ask. For now, I'll spare all the details, but just know that I did not have much physical pain and will not be needing a D&C. This is a huge blessing and answer to prayers! Please pray for Nathan as I think he's having a harder time dealing with things than I am because I had a few days to process what was going on.

So I went into the hospital again today with some HUGE clots and it about freaked me out...but I kept calm...went into my mom's office and the OB doc there found the heartbeat as well as doing a vaginal exam and the cervix was still shut tight...however when I went to the hospital for the more in dept u/s it showed that I had lost a lot of amniotic fluid around the baby...the baby was still alive, moving, and had a heartbeat of 150 so there still is a chance that things sealed themselves and that things will be fine and I will have a healthy baby in the end! Believe in miracles and also that I will have a calm and comforted soul this weekend...hopefully this roller coaster of a pregnancy calms down. Any and all prayers are very greatly coveted and appreciated! thanks in advance!

Lord, I know you are the creator of all things, the giver of life and the one who takes it away. Please comfort my soul in this time of pain and help me to continue to trust in you! I lift this unborn child up to you Lord. It is all in your hands and I trust that whatever happens, is right in your eyes. Amen
